Welcome to Mountain View ATV!

Our Inaugural Spring Thaw Trail Ride was held on March 15, 2008.  We had a blast and got very muddy.  The rain held off until just as we had finished loading up for the ride home.  Our second ride was held on April 26 at Callalantee, where we got sunburned but had a lot of fun with new friends.

Here is some video from the March 15 ride:

You are invited to our next ride!  You do not have to be a church member or attender to come ride with us!  All are welcome!  Just show up and go!  Contact us for more details.

Our next ride is May 31 at beautiful Black Mountain in Evarts, KY.  Read all about it on our Upcoming Events Page.  We are still working on making a determination of where the next rides will be held, but we expect to have a ride sometime in June as well, possibly at Brimstone.  Sign up through our contact form to be automatically notified of the details of upcoming rides.

Mountain View ATV is the ATV ministry of Mountain View Baptist Church located in Johnson City, Tennessee.  It is a part of the church's Outdoor & Sports Ministry

This is a new venture for us.  We plan on riding 6-12 times per year, generally on Saturdays.  Most of our rides will be within a two to three hour drive of the Tri-Cities.  Typically, we will meet at the church prior to the ride and then go to the trail location.  We anticipate taking one or two overnight trips per year, probably either to Hatfield & McCoy or Tellico.  For those trips, we will probalby leave on Friday and return Saturday evening.  In addition to great riding, Tellico also has great trout fishing!  For more information about some of the trails that we plan on riding, check out their sites which can be found on our links page.

....and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith......
